Mr. Dong-Hyun Seok is a partner at Shin & Kim, mainly practicing in the areas of Environment, Corporate Investigation & White Collar Crime and General Criminal Defense.

Mr. Seok joined Shin & Kim in April 2025 after serving as a prosecutor for 11 years from 2014 to 2025, and his practice focuses on criminal defense.

During his tenure as a prosecutor, Mr. Seok was involved in the investigation and trial of several important cases, including a case involving environmental law violations by a large corporation, a case involving recruitment irregularities in a public institution, and a large-scale Jeon-se fraud case involving billions of won. His experience includes not only environmental cases but also a wide range of criminal cases.

Notably, in 2022, he was selected as an Exemplary Prosecutor (Prosecutor General’s Award) in recognition of his contributions, certified as a Level 2 (Blue Belt) Certified Professional Prosecutor in recognition of his expertise in the environmental field, and awarded the Minister of Environment's Commendation (in recognition of excellence in environmental investigations).
