Mr. Tae-Hoon Kim is a Customs Consultant at Shin & Kim, mainly practicing in the areas of customs, trade and FX related matters with special focus on customs audit, FX inspections, ACVA, FTA verification, HS classifications and import compliances.

Prior to joining Shin & Kim, Mr. Kim worked at customs firm, accounting firm and law firm, where he advised clients on matters relating to customs, trade and FX matter for many local and multinational companies.

• Represented both Korean and multinational companies including Company A (Semiconductor), Company B (Pharmaceutical), Company C (Fashion), Company D (Chemistry), Company N (Cosmetics), Company L (Construction) and Company T (Airway) in regular and irregular customs audit
• Represented both Korean and multinational companies including Company D (Medical device), Company N (Entertainment) and Company A(Cosmetics) in FX inspection
• Represented multinational companies including Company S (Electric parts), Company A (Semiconductor Equipment), Company H (Metal), Company B (Spirits) and Company P (Electrical parts) in filing and advising Advance Customs Valuation Arrangement (“ACVA”)
• Represented both Korean and multinational companies including Company T (Automobile, KOR-US FTA), Company B (Spirits, KOR-US FTA), Company I (Textile, KOR-EU FTA), Company S (Electric material, KOR-ASEAN FTA) and Company S (Agricultural, KOR-CA FTA) in FTA verification
• Advises both Korean and multinational companies in customs, trade and foreign exchange issues
