Ms. Jisung Yi is a partner at Shin & Kim, mainly practicing in the areas of corporate governance, management control disputes, capital markets, and corporate criminal matters.
She has built extensive experience across civil, criminal, and administrative proceedings, with a primary focus on corporate disputes, including management control disputes, capital markets and finance, and corporate criminal cases. In particular, she has represented clients in major matters such as disputes arising from management control acquisitions by global private equity funds, management control disputes involving inheritance and share transfers, and false disclosure cases in the capital markets sector. Through these engagements, she has demonstrated the ability to deliver strategic and integrated solutions to complex corporate disputes.
Ms. Yi graduated from Seoul National University College of Law and completed the 42nd class of the Judicial Research and Training Institute. She began her legal career at Yoon & Yang, where she gained broad practical experience, and later earned an MBA from Korea University Business School. Based on her professional excellence, she was recognized as one of the ‘Asia 40 Under 40’ by Asian Legal Business in 2024.
