Mr. Jin Tae Kim is a senior counsel at Shin & Kim with an expertise in criminal affairs.
Prior to joining Shin & Kim, Mr. Kim’s first work was at the Banking Supervisory Authority for a term of nearly four years, before he served as prosecutor for around thirty years, retiring as Prosecutor General. During his office as prosecutor, Mr. Kim’s key practice area was special investigations, with a focus on special investigations on economic crimes, cases of stock market manipulations, illegal transaction of foreign exchange, asset tracing, tax evasions, and criminal investigations of white-collar crimes involving high ranking officials and large corporate management.
