Mr. Sang Hwan Han is a partner at Shin & Kim, and his main practice areas include fintech and financial regulatory sandboxes.

Since the introduction of the financial regulatory sandbox system in 2019, Mr. Han has gained extensive experience by providing consulting services for a large number of financial companies and fintech companies at the Korea Fintech Support Center. Based on this experience, he provides advice on financial regulatory sandboxes to a large number of companies at Shin & Kim. He also supervised exchanges of domestic and foreign financial investment business entities and provided advice on sanctions imposed by the Securities and Futures Commission.

Mr. Han graduated from the Korea University College of Law and completed the 45th term of the Judicial Research and Training Institute. He worked as a public-service advocate at the Korea Legal Aid Corporation and the Suwon District Prosecutors’ Office before joining Shin & Kim, and he also worked at the Korea Fintech Support Center, an association incorporated under the Financial Services Commission. He is currently a regular member of the Digital Finance Law Forum.
