Ms. Kwon began her judicial career in 2001 as a judge at the Seoul District Court. Over the years, she served at the Seoul Western District Court, Ulsan District Court, the Uijeongbu District Court Goyang Branch, Seoul Family Court, Seoul Central District Court, and Seoul Southern District Court. She later served as chief judge at the Suwon District Court and the Suwon Family Court Anyang Branch before concluding her tenure. In March 2024, she joined Shin & Kim.
Notably, Ms. Kwon served as a judge and a presiding judge of family law at the Seoul Family Court for eight years and handled family law cases for over a decade. She has lectured extensively on family law, inheritance, guardianship and juvenile law at the Seoul Bar Association and the Judicial Research and Training Institute, and has also contributed to legal publications, including Judicial Practice Guide: Family Law and Commentary on the Civil Code: Inheritance Section.
