Mr. Yeongsoo Jang co-leads Shin & Kim’s Criminal Defense Practice Group together with Mr. Mooil Moon, and has over 20 years of experience as a prosecutor, during which he held key positions including Chief Prosecutor of the Daegu High Prosecutors’ Office, Chief Prosecutor of the Seoul Western and Daejeon District Prosecutors’ Offices, and Deputy Chief Prosecutor of the Seoul Southern District Prosecutors’ Office.
Mr. Jang built extensive experience through his work in major departments of the Seoul Central and Southern District Prosecutors’ Offices, where he led investigations into a wide range of matters including financial and securities crimes, taxation, corporate criminal cases, and intellectual property rights. Drawing on this practical expertise and deep understanding of criminal enforcement, he has been practicing law since June 2021, successfully representing major domestic corporations and listed companies in cases involving violations of the Capital Markets Act, embezzlement and breach of trust in the course of business, criminal matters related to virtual assets, and industrial technology theft.
