June Young Jang of Shin & Kim has been recognized by ALB (Asian Legal Business) among its ALB Super 50 TMT Lawyers.
ALB Super 50 TMT Lawyers, a newly introduced category by ALB, is a list of 50 leading lawyers in the field of TMT (Technology, Media, and Telecommunications) within the entire Asian region. The list is meaningful in that the attorneys were selected solely based on evaluations by in-house counsels and corporate legal teams.
Currently, Mr. Jang is in charge of the Privacy & Data team in the ICT group at Shin & Kim. Mr. Jang previously worked at LG Telecom Co., the Ministry of Information and Communication, and the Korea Communications Commission and gained hands-on experience in legal and regulatory issues in major areas of TMT, including radio, broadcasting, and telecommunication. In recognition of his expertise, Mr. Jang was appointed last year as a member of the Presidential Committee on the Fourth Industrial Revolution, where he is the only lawyer in the Committee.
