Shin & Kim won the "Impact Deal of the Year" award at the Asialaw Awards 2023, held on September 26 at the Marina Bay Sands Hotel in Singapore.
Shin & Kim won the Impact Deal of the Year award for successfully advising on two deals, the U.S.’s largest insurer Chubb Group’s acquisition of LINA Life Insurance and the Jeju Hanlim’s offshore wind farm project financing.
Last year, Shin & Kim successfully advised on taxes during the U.S.’s largest insurer Chubb Group's acquisition of LINA Life Insurance, solidifying the law firm’s position in the global M&A advisory service industry. Shin & Kim also advised on Jeju Hallim’s offshore wind farm project, Korea’s first commercial offshore wind farm, from the early stages of development. In recognition of the firm’s contribution to the completion of capital financing and the acceleration of the renewable energy project, Shin & Kim was celebrated with the award.
