Ms. Hae-Seong Ahn is currently a partner at Shin & Kim, whose main practice areas include corporate transactions such as M&A and PEFs, and corporate governance restructuring.

Ms. Ahn has advised clients in major merger and acquisition transactions in Korea. She has expertise in litigation involving transactions of various structures, many of which were the first of their kind in Korea. Ms. Ahn has also represented Korean and foreign companies and fund managers across different industries, advising them on amicable mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, venture capital funding, and the establishment of local subsidiaries. She also has extensive experience in corporate governance, including corporate spin-offs, mergers, and holding companies.

Ms. Ahn obtained her LL.B. from Seoul National University College of Law. She completed the 38th Class of the Judicial Research and Training Institute.

Ms. Ahn has authored articles on various legal issues in the field of mergers and acquisitions and private equity investments. She has also participated as a speaker or a panel guest in many national and international seminars and has been recognized as a Leading Individual in Corporate/M&A by international directories such as IFLR 1000 and the Legal 500 Asia Pacific.
