Ms. Ji-Hyun Oh is currently a partner at Shin & Kim. Her main practice areas include fund establishment and management under the Capital Markets Act, REIT establishment and management under the Real Estate Investment Company Act, real estate trusts, real estate acquisition/sale/development and acquisition finance, project finance (PF), asset securitization and structured finance such as ABS, foreign exchange transactions and foreign investment, private equity investment, and general corporate matters.

Ms. Oh has advised on numerous domestic real estate alternative investment deals of various structures such as REFs, REITs, and PFVs with significant success since the implementation of the Indirect Investment Assets Management Act. Ms. Oh also advised on the acquisition of the Thames Court and One Wood Street in London, UK in 2012, and has also advised on overseas property investment and handled offshore fund registration in various countries including the US, UK and France.

Drawing from her practical and theoretical knowledge and a wealth of experience gained from a variety of real estate-related work, Ms. Oh has been contributing articles on the latest issues in real estate transactions to BFL, a legal journal published by the Seoul National University Center for Financial Law. She has used this same knowledge and experience to provide comprehensive and professional advisory services to leading asset managers, real estate trusts, securities firms, banks and other financial institutions and businesses in Korea.
