Mr. Jinsoo Kim is a partner at Shin & Kim and focuses his practice on general corporate, hostile M&A, finance, management disputes, and litigation related to finance, trusts, and real estate.

Mr. Kim has extensive experience with management control disputes, having advised clients including Hyundai Elevator, Bithumb, and OCI, in which he achieved the best results, and has also advised and won several civil and criminal cases involving companies in the construction, chemical, IT, electric vehicle, renewable energy, medical device, academic and publishing sectors.

Mr. Kim graduated from the Department of Electrical Engineering at Seoul National University, earned a Master of Laws degree from Sungkyunkwan University, and completed doctoral coursework (Civil Law) at the same graduate school. From 2016 to 2019, when he joined Shin & Kim, Mr. Kim served as a public-service advocate at the Korea Intellectual Property Protection Agency, at the Division of General Legislation Interpretation and Division of Social and Cultural Legislation Interpretation of the Ministry of Government Legislation, and at the Legal Affairs Division of the Korean National Police Agency, handling matters related to intellectual property rights, authoritative interpretations by administrative agencies, and the legal system. Mr. Kim also served as a public legislation officer at the Ministry of Government Legislation. He is particularly active in the fields of commercial law and management control disputes, publishing extensively in media such as the Legal Journal of Seoul National University Center for Financial Law (BFL) and LAWnB ONJU.
