Mr. Mu Young Yu is a partner at Shin & Kim and his main areas of practice include consulting on the listing of companies on KOSPI and KOSDAQ, FSS regulation of financial institutions and other disputes, policy financing workouts and restructuring and consulting, management rights disputes, and unfair trade (fraudulent transactions).

Further to advising on delisting (substantial examination of listing eligibility) of KOSPI and KOSDAQ companies by the Korea Exchange, he mainly provides policy finance advice and consulting on restructuring (workouts, rehabilitation), and has been working as a member of the Korea Exchange’s securities market corporate review committee since 2024.

In addition, his expertise covers criminal cases related to unfair trade, such as market manipulation and fraudulent transactions, as well as financial regulation advice and disputes related to domestic and foreign banks, securities firms, and asset management companies. In addition, he mainly provides advisory and litigation services related to disputes over management rights of listed companies, as well as stock purchase price calculation cases (non-litigation) related to mergers and comprehensive stock exchanges.
