Ms. Hyun Ju Hong is a partner at Shin & Kim whose main practice areas include tax appeals (including tax disputes), civil and criminal tax litigation, tax counseling, accounting supervision and regulation, audit and corporate accounting litigation and counseling.

After passing the Certified Public Accountant exam in 2006, Ms. Hong worked at Samil PwC, providing financial and accounting counseling and audit services. As a member of Shin & Kim's Tax Group, Ms. Hong represents various large and public companies in tax appeals and disputes, civil and criminal tax litigation, and provides counsel on all areas of tax.

Ms. Hong is also a member of Shin & Kim's Accounting Audit & Investigation Team, specializing in accounting audits and investigation defense, and is also active in litigation and counseling practice relating to corporate accounting standards and the External Audit Act.

Ms. Hong graduated from Seoul National University College of Business Administration (B.B.A) and obtained her J.D. from Yonsei University Law School and her Master of Laws (LL.M) from New York University School of Law in the United States.
